I was born in Stockport, and have lived in Davenport for the past four years.
Over the last two years, I have completed a masters in Multimedia journalism, and have spent that time forming closer relationships with the residents and business owners in my ward, while reporting on issues that are important to them. I hope to continue building these relationships and to use them to maintain and improve the area.
Part of what drives me professionally is finding solutions to problems, and I believe that cross party cooperation is necessary to not only find, but to implement those solutions and make the best use of our resources.
In particular I am passionate about better step free access for Stockport's train stations, and the installation of more public defibrillators across the area. Issues that I hope to draw attention to if elected
